2016 Adobe Design Achievement Awards, Semifinalist

As an ethnic minority in Northern China, Manchu has superior ethnic characteristics and enjoys the rich costume culture. The book shows a professional art study about Manchu apparel and accessories. There are over 500 beautiful pictures and about 80,000 words in the book. 

本書在結合滿族服飾特點的基礎上，結構和功能上充分創新。將書籍設計為可拆卸式，拆卸結構也是滿族服飾為方便生活的原生態結構之一。書內每章節單獨用線裝訂，每兩章相連，以彩色彈性繩掛套在書脊上，可靈活摘下。書的上切口逐層增高，每頁的右上角章節名稱清晰可見，方便查找。切口采用弧線形式，與滿族服飾獨有的特色圖案“水紋”異曲同工。

書籍色彩特點保持了滿族服飾的色彩特點：色彩大多樸素，細節體現跳躍色彩。強化輪廓色彩，底色淺邊緣深較多。色相過渡柔和。色彩層次豐富，明度對比鮮明。

書籍封面封底包裱畫綾紙，典雅樸素。外部為磨砂半透明函套，函套正面“滿族服飾”字樣錯落浮於“水紋”之中。

 

Every two chapters are sewed together and put on the spine with a colorful elastic rope. Readers may take any chapter away for freedom of learning.The concept comes from the demountable construction of Manchu apparel. The gradual book margin shows each chapter heading. The margin's curve express the typical water patterns of Manchu apparel. 

 

In addition, the colors and patterns of the book also show the superior ethnic characteristics of Manchu apparel and accessories.

海報：“滿族服飾”字形變化如同布料的交錯紋理，交疊的條紋展現滿族服飾最大的特色“十八鑲嵌”（即層層鑲嵌的花邊）。海報邊緣為層疊立體式突出墻面。

明信片：選取滿族服飾中精美的圖案。

光盤：包裝采用滿族服飾的雲紋為設計元素，並製造交錯的立體效果。

書簽：滿族服飾中經常出現的“暗八仙”圖案書簽浮於水紋狀的書籍上切口中，在半透明函套中若隱若現。

磁性貼：具有磁性的貼紙，可以給人偶穿上滿族的傳統服飾。更直觀地增加讀者對滿族服飾的認識，趣味性吸引讀者。

書籍外包裝：布袋采用滿族服飾獨特的盤金繡法。布袋內分三層，全手工制作。
